Any university that seeks to be among the leading, in the first place, is trying to make themselves known to the scientific community through academic publication, as well as a wide audience. A scientific peer-reviewed journal is the university's envoy in the national or international university space, a good opportunity for young scientists (and not only for them) to get settled in academic circles. The journal 'Moambe' accumulated those scientific traditions characteristic for the higher education institutions that are now united at Akaki Tsereteli State University. The abundance of educational programs or research directions, on the one hand, leads to the diversity of 'Moambe' and, on the other hand, raises interest towards it. The scientific journal was first published in the 1940s by a former pedagogical institute, but due to objective reasons, it came out periodically. One of the most important events of the university life was the publication of the bilingual (Georgian-English) journal University 'Moambe' since 1993. Unfortunately, its publication was discontinued several years later and was only updated in 2013 in accordance with almost the same principles as Akaki Tsereteli State University 'Moambe' Currently, Georgian and foreign scientists have been actively cooperating in its editorial; the number of foreign authors is also increasing, the journal is developing and aims to continuously improve the quality of the products published in it, improve the technical parameters and get fully settled in international scientific databases.
